Well as some of you know I had a seizure about two weeks. Today I finally met with my neurologist (she was on vacation) and she told me no more nightshifts. EVER. Ok, they weren't worth the extra dollar/hr anyway. I ask for a doctor's note to show to my boss and she gives it to me. When I show it to him, he says "well then you can't work here. Here's what I'll do: I'll give you until the end of the day to think it over. If you decide you'd rather play it safe, then get the fuck out of my sight. If you'd like to pretend this conversation never happened, then call me later today." So I told him I'd think about. Instead I checked my schedule and I'm going to work the few day shifts I have before quitting.  AND then contacting Labour Control. ;D |

Bastards! Definitely contact Labour Control. Apparently McDonald's works like a Third World country. As for my part, not that I did very often before, but I'm never giving McDonald's my business ever again! And when people ask why, I'll tell them exactly why, because they treat their employees no better than the scum off your bathroom tiles.  |

Disturbing McDonald's facts: 1) so many chemicles are added to their hamburger patties that if you ate JUST the patty it would taste like their hamburgers (ie: pickles, ketchup, onions, mustard, bread) without the bread and as if the simply skimped you on the condiments. 2) Their nuggets are apparently dipped in beef grease in order to attract those that don't want to eat burgers (ie: dieters). 3) Their fish and non-nugget-chicken products are never up to sanitation codes. EVER.  4) Despite the fact that it costs about 10 cents Canadian per/unit to make a hamburger, employees only get a 50% discount on what they eat. If they give their leftovers to somebody else, it's considered stealing and they are automatically fired. |

Bah, I'm still going to eat at McDonalds when I have the money. What can I say, I'm as addicted to Big Mac's as I am to Mountain Dew, though I like Sheetz MTO's more than Big Mac's... but yeah, I'm rambling now.

Bah, I'm still going to eat at McDonalds when I have the money. What can I say, I'm as addicted to Big Mac's as I am to Mountain Dew, though I like Sheetz MTO's more than Big Mac's... but yeah, I'm rambling now. Yeah I'm just boycotting that one Mcdonald's. There's another one in my area that I go to for all my quarterpounder needs.  Ironically, I just got a job at Burger King today.  |
