magikarp46.com/sailormoon/I've been doing script translations of the Sailor Moon manga for practice/fun/personal torment, and I just recently finished converting it from ickily formatted text files to plain, yet better formatted, HTML files. I think this will be my "official" thread for my work on this project, so now that I have a relatively decent layout for it, I'll post new scripts here. Tokyopop's license to the manga ran out a few years ago, and it's long since been out of print. But even so, I'm certainly not doing this to discourage the purchase of an official product or anything. The Japanese volumes are still in print, and, ideally, people could use these scripts to follow along with those. On that note, these scripts are scripts only, with no descriptions of any actions (though I do abuse the hell out of CSS to reflect some of the different dialogue bubble styles), so they're probably difficult to follow if you don't have the books at hand. The manga is just my absolute favorite version of the series, and I hope this little project of mine is helpful to other fans of it, or even piques the interest of someone who's unfamiliar with it. Feedback is quite welcome~

Ah, well, you can buy the new cover editions (similar to kanzenban) from places like: Amazon Japan (Japanese) AnimeNationSasuga BooksOr you can get second hand copies of those, or possibly even the original tankoubon, from JPQueen or eBay.

Act 11 up~ This one is extra long because it originally spanned across two different issues of Nakayoshi (the magazine it was originally serialized in). But in the manga reprints, which I don't have myself, it's broken up into two different acts (11 and 12) as it originally was in Nakayoshi. I added a separate link table on the main page to accommodate this difference between versions. I also added a new top menu, though its current layout and color scheme is far from final. The web design side of this project is my first foray into XHTML, and it's also the first time I've been able to figure out a method of making menus that aren't hardcoded or part of a frameset.

I finished Act 12 over the weekend, and somehow also finished Act 13 before I'd even posted that. (It turns out the latter just doesn't have much dialogue.) These are Act 13 and 14 in the reprints, by the way. I completely redid the navigation layout, too, now that the first arc is finished. Still want to tweak with the colors and stuff later.
