Of Rumiko Takahashi's manga, which would you guys say was better between Ranma 1/2, or Inuyasha? Personally, I prefer the Ranma manga because its funny.

I've never had the chance to read Ranma, but I hear it's pretty great. Inuyasha gets awfully annoying, so I'm going to give Ranma a vote just to increase the damage on Inuyasha.

Ranma is hands-down....well a good anime ;D I love that anime/manga, it's hilarious. My favorite character is Ryoga, he can't tell East from his foot.

You know, after reading all of Ranma now, which yes, I've done since October whatever of my last post here, I don't know what to say. They both piss me off, and I loathe them. Yeah, I read it straight-though. Yeah, I'm still following Inuyasha. But I still loathe them. Don't even get me started.
In conclusion, I pick Death Note. Or Bleach. Because they own.

^Ditto. Ranma is way better IMO. I like IY too (well, the anime), but I still don't think it's very good ... I don't get why it's so popular. It's not anything special and just has an incredibly stereotypical story and set of characters. Plus its fans are annoying as can be... all those little fangirls drooling over Sesshoumaru and the Inuyasha/Kagome couple drives me up the wall.

The problem with a lot of Takahashi's manga is that so many of them have just been rehashes of her first successful comedy manga Urusei Yatsura. Which in my opinion is still her best, along with Maison Ikkoku and Mermaid's Scar. I highly recommend these three if you want to read something more original by her. One Pound Gospel is also an interesting and different manga by her. Anyway, it always gets the same with her. She starts out strong and then just goes in circles.
