So what are everyone's holiday plans? Or were, since Hanukkah is over now. What kinda lootz are you getting? ;D

Celebrating the holidays at my parents house; they're throwing a huge party on the 24th that will most certainly won't end until 5 or 6 AM, as is our tradition. We're going to dance, eat unhealthy yet delicious foods and drink vast amounts of alcohol, that's another tradition of ours. Come on through, everyone's welcome. ;D As far as "lootz" are concerned, I didn't ask for anything... though I plan to pick up the sweet ass Chosen Collection of Buffy the Vampire Slayer for myself. As far as giving lootz, I bought my sisters a computer for Christmas, their first one ever. I'm somewhat jealous of the Hi-def monitor that came along with it. Err, you didn't mention your plans...

Plans? What is this 'plan' that you speak of? ... I... still have no idea how tomorrow's going to turn out, since usually we spend the 24th at my father's mother's and crazy all-day noise occurs. But she's not quite alive at the moment, and despite the fact that I own the house it's been rather unkept and such for the past year. So... no clue. XD SantaClause (who... seems to have quite the southern accent... XD) has been calling us every between Thanksgiving and Christmas for the past fourteen years, and the last couple I've been at school at the time and wound up getting called separately from everyone else... which... is convenient. XD. And that's the only time I've actually thought of anything to ask for (because really... what's out that I want?). My DBZ toy collection is plagued with a conspicuous lack of triclopse and telekinetic vampire doll. 'Course, if I wind up with Ten and Chaozu I'm going to want to make more crappy action figure movies... and I pretty much finished the last bout of those right as my vision took a nosedive... so I say meh! ... Haha, I am the master of insignificance...

Oh yeah, I guess I didn't mention mine. I'm spending Christmas Eve with my mom's side of the family, where we're having a big Italian dinner (even though we're of Scottish and Irish descent), and Christmas day with my dad's side (yay divorce), where we'll probably have ham and potatoes or something. Today, I'm doing lots of baking to hand out as my gifts to most people. But I did get a few real gifts: Simpsons movie gift set for my mom and her husband, first season of Stargate SG-1 for my dad, a letter for my little brother (since he's in boot camp, and that's about all I'm allowed to send), and, erm, something kinda private for my boyfriend. I'm kind of hoping someone gets me the new Futurama movie, since I made sure to drop about a thousand hints about it. If not, I'll probably get it with a gift card or something anyway.

Signed up to work both Thanksgiving and New Years so I'd be sure to get Christmas off. Movie theaters being open 365/year sucks for their employees. Same as every year: Opening presents in the morning, going out to visit family during the day. My Dad's side meet at my Grandparents' house, and my Mom's side meet at my Aunt's.

The aftermath of our party is as follows:
Two hangovers; my younger brother and our cousin One very sore hand; another cousin of mine was injured with a baseball bat while the young kids were busting up a piƱata And one ruined wheelbarrow; we placed a bunch of mesquite logs and lit them on fire (it was 36 degrees last night.)
All in all it was our calmest Christmas bash in many years. Onwards, to our New Years party!
