Yeah so I slept all fucking day, screwing me over physically like shit, as I was supposed to work the night shift at McDonald's. You know: the Golden Arches (**coughARSHOLEScough**) restaurant that STILL hasn't given me my uniform even though I started working there 3 days ago (so they gave me ONE size shirt too small and made me use my own dress/suit pants. That ought to be a nice hefty dry-cleaning bill)? The same place that let me wait a month after hiring before sending me to Orientation, and then another 2 weeks before my first training session (of only 3 hrs pay)?
Well today they did a new one: Since I'll mostly be doing night shifts (don't mind since I DESPERATELY need the extra dollar/hr), my sleep is all fucked up as I'll need to sleep during the day (which is flaring up my migraines as a result of the change). So guess what they did? That's right! They wait until I'm working for 15 minutes before telling me that they've overstaffed and that they're sending me home. WITHOUT PAY. And yes, I AM going to push for the Quebec law that says in scenarios where you're not pre-told about not coming that I get at least 3 hrs pay.

UPDATE: Longest night EVER. Since I'll be doing the overnight shift again Saturday night as well, I'll need to keep the same screwy sleeping pattern where I sleep in the day. To do that I've been awake on all night on the computer watching Naruto. I'm almost out of eps. Bored bored bored. Pissed pissed pissed. Someone find me a paying job, please.

Okay Hunters! We have an additional goal! We start targeting McDonald's corporate buildings today!! So here's what we do: for every fangirl raid we do, we keep 10 alive and then Random brainwashes them, we strap detonating Inu-Yasha plushies to them and send them into the corporate offices to set the bombs off a la Spriggan! No multi-billion dollar corporation screws over my husband and gets away with it! We're gonna need a lot of fangirls. Good thing Otakon's coming up! ;D

Good ol' Spriggan. I'll help out, but with my own methods...

What if he poisoned them and then handed them out to customers as a McDonald's representative? That would certainly make a dent in McDonald's public relations.^_^

Oooooooohh...I thought he was ordering them for himself. No, that would still be bad. He should order happy meals, with exploding plushies as the free toy, and hand them out to fangirls.

Burger King wouldn't hire me. That was a kick in the balls because they were understaffed and said they'd "wing it" anyways, and then 2 weeks later there were "We're hiring!" signs everywhere. I hate Quebec.

For the next 72 hours, you will eat only Mcdonalds food!
*runs away while Jersey sobs uncontrollably*

Update: Now I don't even have a regular work schedule like I was supposed to. My hours, which are SUPPOSED to be 40 hrs made up of 5 8hr overnight shifts, consist of 5-8pm on Friday, 2-5pm Saturday and 11-2pm Sunday. Also, NO hours Monday-Thursday. Do the math and you get 9 hrs.

About the 9 hrs bit: 10 is the minimum amount of work you can give in Quebec. I think I'm going to sue their ass.

Nope. I'm going to see if I can get my old job back (should be able to since they recently put an add to hire 10 ppl and I left on amicable terms, though I don't want to go back there). If I do get my old job back I'm quitting McDonald's+footing them the bill for my dry cleaning+demanding they pay me the minimum for that night that they cut me.
