It's a fantasy RPG I started waaaaaaaaaaaay back in August that I've hardly worked on since. Now, however, I'm doing some stuff with it again. I'm no where near as far through it as Dayspring is with his... but then I'm making everything from scratch too. Anywya, figured I'd post info here about it as I go and maybe get some input now and then.
Oh, and find out if anyone here would be interested in playing it too!

Still not set on that. I'm trying to work out the mechanics first, then worry about the little details. Though I am thinking of having a 'War of the Gods' as the premise to everything...
Though, I will take input on this to help give me ideas... I will be making a rather large back history to everything as well. And I'm going to have plenty of races.... each with its own history section.... man....
Human, Human Vampire, Elf, Elven Vampire, Dwarf, Seraphim, Troll, Goblin, Golem, Eptilin, Eptilin Vampire

Explain what an Eptilin is, and what the differences are between the vampires are please. And make sure Dragons are in the RPG or I won't join!

I second everything Dayspring just said including the questions. Also what is a seraphim? I'm assuming it's a different thing from the highest class of angel, that I associate the name with.

I knew I'd get questions like those! One of the reasons I'll, eventually, be writting up huge histories for the races. ;D Anyway, to the answers: Eptilin: Their an odd little race I came up with for a now discarded Fantasy Novel some time back. They are not Mammal, nor Lizard, nor Plant, but a bit of each. Eptilins do not eat, they survive on water and sunlight (including Eptilin Vampires, the only Vampires immune to the dangers of Sunlight). They are naturally fast and have the ability to regenerate twice as fast as the other races. (In other words, instead of recovering 2HP per 1MP they gain 4HP per 1MP) That's just general for now, but the other stuff may change as I work on the RPG. Serphim: The 'Descendants' of the God of the Sky, Borealis, or at least they claim to be. It's not known for sure. The only non-Vampire race with the ability of flight thanks to a pair of white feathered wings. Normally quite egotistical and 'uppity' around the 'lower' races. They feel they don't belong on the Earth but in the realm of the Gods and so they normally live high in the moutains. Other than flight they do have another advantage over the other races, high magical ability surpassing that of even the elves, the 'children' of magic. Despite this they have a major flaw as well, they aren't as physically powerful as the other races. Eptillin Vampires: Each 'race' of Vampires has it's own specific advantages. Being an Eptilin Vampire gives the 'normal' Vampire bonuses while still being able to walk in the daylight, in fact, daylight boosts their stats by 2% each making them stronger. However they lack the ability to fly possessed by the other two Vampire 'races'. Human Vampires: Human Vampires gain the 'normal' Vampire bonuses as well. They also have the ability to sprout/retract a pair of bat like wings from their back at will, and possess the ability to 'blend' into their surroundings making it harder to hit them. Elven Vampires: Again, they gain the 'normal' Vampire bonuses, but they can fly via powerful magic (no worries about their wings getting damaged in battle 'grounding' them). Also, their magic is boosted by 25% from what it was as a 'normal' Elf. Dragons: If you can 'tame' a Dragon (Dragons are all NPC's, you must attack and defeat one to tame it) it will join you lending it's power and abilites to you when needed. However, Dragons do not like Eptilins and would rather die than be tamed by one. *Whew* There ya go. I think that answers your questions. If not, let me know and I'll see what I can do!

Meh. I don't think I'm interested. It seems like a mix of 2-3 different genres. I'm afraid I prefer my Vampires seperated from my fantasy. And yet I wrote a book where the first Vampire was really the last Dragon...

What, Vampires are Sci-fi now or something? Last I checked they filed under Fantasay rather nicely. I mean, Vampires roamed the lands of the old days and fought with Elves, so... yeah... I lost my point.

I lost my point. No they didn't. They date back to the 1400s in "real-world" fantasy. And Vlad Tsepesh isn't Dracula! BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Not really. "Dracula" is Roumanian(sp?) for "Son of the Devil". However, "Dracul" (the devil) is the same word as dragon. So I changed the origin of the word from "Son of the Devil" to "Son of the Dragon". ;D
The premise was that eons ago man lived in harmony with the Dragons. Since Man goes to war often, however, so did the dragons that lived with them. In the first world war, which took place about 50,000 BC (I think that's when the last natural global extinction process took place: I'm trying to make the years coincide), the dragons ended up being all killed off and the human population decimated.
The last Dragon was so wounded that he needed to drink blood to replace what he lost. Since he was the last Dragon, meaning there was no dragon blood for it to drink, it transformed into a human so it could drink human blood. In exchange for their blood, it filled their hearts with its flame. As long as the flame in their hearts doesn't go out, they'll stay immortal. However, to keep the flame fueled, they need to drink more blood (VAMPIRES!!!)
