Well.... It looks funny, so I guess I will. ^__^ But why did they make Garfield animated and then all the other animals are real?

I think it would have been cute if they would have animated Odie too, so he would look like he did in the comics.

Yeah. ^__^ And I hope Garfield kicks Odie off the table in the movie. And then Odie gets back up and then Garfield kicks him off again. XD

I wonder if they'll do any of the nap attacks that he has. I hope they don't make it into too much of an up-an'-at-'em movie. Garfield is supposed to be really lazy.

That's true. I wonder if they'll have Nermal in it too? I hope they have Jon's family in it. Doc-Boy's such an idiot! XD

I hope Jon is still the lovable loser at love he is. One of my favorite strips was one he mentions how every woman on the beach turned him down. Garfield asks, "Even the one with the hairy back?" Jon responds, "Even the one with the hairy back!"

Unfortunately they re-wrote the story so that it's the "origin" of Odie and how Jon wins over the vet. We already know the origin of Odie, and Jon NEVER won over the vet!

Gah... I don't remember Garfield at all. Other than the names Garfield, Odie, and Jon, you're just confusing me... Garfield? Bah humbug!

Wow! They actual had sort of the same plot? Interesting..I remember at the movies for Harry Potter 3 and when they showed a pic of Garfield, this lady next to me was like "They're animating Garfield? Oh no.."

Heh. Would that make her a big Garfield fan, or just the opposite?

Wow! They actual had sort of the same plot? No, not at all. Odie belonged to Jon's roommate of a while called "Newman" or something. He like, DIED or something, because Newman disappeared but Odie stayed. Instead of ALWAYS failing at love, ESPECIALLY with the vet, in the movie Jon adopts Odie as winning over the vet. As you can see, not the same at all. Jon's still single in the comics!!!

Jon's roommate was named Lyman and I don't think it was ever stated that he died, he just sort've stopped appearing in the comic, just like Lunch in DB. Although I can pretty much garuantee that Jim Davis would remember who Lyman was if you asked him. ^_^

In one of the anniversary books, I believe Jim Davis said he just sort of dropped Lyman from the comics, because he was a little redundant? I don't know. I do know that it was never said what happened to him, though, he just vanished Without a Trace. /late-night drama Too bad; I liked him. His mustache was silly.

Lyman's character just didn't have any character to begin with. All he brought to the story was Odie and someone to talk to Jon, but that talking bit just meant there'd be whole weeks where Garfield had no appearance in his own comic. He's dead. Trust me. ... I know.

O.o I've killed off one of my dog characters before named Rinea. Well, I just say that she died. I never drew it in, though. My friends got mad because most of the characters were male and then I got rid of a female.
