As you all may know Blue Dragon is an RPG made by Hironobu Sakaguchi in collaboration with Akira Toriyama (Character Designs & Story Ideas), Nobuo Uematsu (Music), & developer Artoon (Blinx). The game has been out quite some time in Japan & has received good scores. With the game slated for an August release in the US, an anime adaptation in Japan, & two manga spin-offs, it seems the series is enjoying good success. A sequel has been confirmed word of mouth via Sakaguchi. It's also rumored that the sequel will use the X-Box Live component in it's main gameplay (maybe some like DQ 9 with the Wi-fi connection). Only time will tell.
I'm personally stoked for the fact that Sakaguchi & Toriyama are working again. Hell it's good to get anything new from Toriyama, let it be a game, an anime, or a manga. With this & Lost Odyssey coming out later on during the Holiday season, it seems there's no reason for me to not get an X-Box 360. FFX was fantastic with its first person narrative, beautiful graphics, & world. I'm certain this game won't disappoint as well.
