Arr matey, tomorrow "One Piece" makes its US debut. I'm holding out hope that they will do it some justice, though it would have been better on Adult Swim or Toonami. But if 4Kids makes it shoddy, and lets not judge it only by the first episode, we'll send them to Davey Jones' Locker. Har Har Har.

Saw it. Theme song is a catchy rap pirate ditty. It was ok. Wonder though, did they skip an episode, or is it just how the series went? They went from talkning about Gold Roger to Alvida and Koby.

They did show the flashbacks of Luffy as a little kid and Shanks right? Because I'm pretty sure if I remember correctly that is how the anime starts. Going right into the story about Koby and Alvida.

The only time they showed Shanks was briefly in the opening theme.
