Well, this isn't really new, but what the hell.. This is just a thread for y'all to compare your favorite anime scenes to their manga countepart. This is for all series, including ones like Outlaw Star where the manga hasn't even been released in English. I'll post my own in a few days, once I get a certain DVD.

Oh... Azu Manga Daioh seemed funnier when the cat bit Sakaki in the manga. She stops and stares at the cat. Her hand rises. She's about to pet it. *CHOMP* XD

I actually hate the DB/Z/GT anime. I feel it's very badly made in contrast w/the manga. I only liked the tv specials and movies since Bardock was bad-ass and could take place, and since the movies are known to take place outside the regular storyline.

I really prefer the Yugi-Oh! manga to the anime. The anime just takes too many liberties. The manga is more twisted and creepy yes, but in a fun way. I always laugh at the anime in comparison to the manga because the manga's just so dang "psychotic", I actually think Kazuki Takahashi needs serious counseling if that's what's in his head. ;D
I much prefer the manga of Please Save My Earth to the anime OAV. I mean how can you successfully compress such a long, complex story into a six-part OAV? The manga actually took Saki Hiwatari ten years to complete! It wasn't a bad effort, but the ending was really rushed and it gave no satisfying resolve. You especially couldn't feel any empathy for Rin because there just wasn't enough time to really make you understand why he was being the way he was in any great detail. Great music though, but then with the likes of Hajime Mizoguchi, Yoko Kanno, and Akino Arai on board, that's a virtual garuantee. ^_^

Ya just like Harry Potter too. I hate it when I hear a production company say they are going to do that with a piece of literature because you already know right then that it's not going to be as good as you want.

People are angry that Potter 3 movie's a bit too scary for little kids around ages 2-5. Who the fuck ever said that ANY Harry Potter book was aimed for that age group?!

What the hell are 2 to 5 year-olds going to see Harry Potter for?! Take them to see Shrek 2. It's got a talking donkey. Nothing like talking donkies to keep toddlers quiet for 2 hours.

I'm saving all my money right now, but I'd probably just get my dad to buy it. ;D A benefit of being cute little girl. Daddy does everything for them. Being a tall 19 year-old guy means people think you're a bully and nobody gets you nuthin'!

I don't think you're a bully Dayspring. Tall guys are cool. They can reach up and get things for me. ^_^

XD But I don't like being short, my friends tease me. And even Chibi is only about 1 inch shorter than me. And you can reach things, like Jersey said. o-o

Yeah, being 6 foot 2 has it's advantages.... Being 19 means most people wont buy me stuff anymore and my dad keeps telling me to get a job.

I can't even GET a minimum wage job! I've been struggling with Burger King and McDonald's for God's sake! I have to runner after McD's because they're too lazy to phone me just to tell me when my last interview would be! I finally get the job, and I'm waiting to be trained now! Nyaha, Xyex! I'm 3-4 inches taller than you! ;D
