No-one knew who the fuck New Found Glory was when I first started going to see their shows. I can't even begin to describe the awkwardness of hearing Story of the Year on radio for the first time. |

I feel the same way about Finch, I was listening to them like 6 months before anyone else knew who they were. A friend of mine got their CD through some magazine and had me listen to it...I listened to it for like 2 weeks straight, now I hardly listen to them since they went mainstream.

I'll always love Finch. What it is to Burn is an absolutely amazing album, start to finish. It's one of those albums that if I start listening to it, I have to listen to the entire thing straight through. I've got some new leaked demos of " Bitemarks and Bloodstains" and another untitled song off the new album, if you're interested. |

O.o Oooh! Demos from their new album? Does a werewolf crap in the forest? Heck yeah I'd like to take a listen.
What It Is To Burn is a very good album, alas due to mainstream dribble and the fact that my copy is in very bad shape due to constantly listening to them I really don't listen to them that much anymore. Recently I've been playing Brand New, Thrice's first 2 albums and Rise Against.

Never heard of them. I might have to talk with some friends/co-workers to see if they have them. I've been listening to Rise Against for like the past 4 days. A co-worker lent both albums to me (The Unraveling, Revolutions Per Minute). Both are very good and strongly recommend buying them. They're in the studio right now... have been for a little bit. Their drummer (Papas) actually left the band, recently... he was playing with Jamison/Parker for a bit, but I'm not sure if he's permanently with them.
Dunno when it's due out. Fall/Winter, probably.

I have to say that I really love the CD Fallen by Evanescence. I listened to the song Bring Me to Life around 300+ times last year, but my new fave song on that CD is Haunted. ;D
